Larry’s Losers Week 17

by Larry Leek

Larry's Losers

Two straight weeks with GREAT results. Last weeks 13-3 record was very nice, giving me a record of 27-5 over the last two weeks. It brings the overall season total to 157-82. Looking at this weeks games, it’s going to be some tough ones to pick because their are still many teams fighting for playoff spots as well as playoff seedings, so look for quite a few good games in the LAST week of the season. WOYSM wishes EVERYONE a Happy New Years….

There are only Sunday games this week and The games that have any meaning are: 11-4 Carolina at 9-6 AtlantaThe Falcons are still fighting for a wildcard spot with 9-6 Seattle, but all they need to do is win and they are in. The Seahawks are home against 7-8 Arizonaa win plus a Falcons loss gives them the final wildcard spot in the NFC. 10-5 Jacksonville at 8-7 Tennessee, The Titans need a win here to wrap up a playoff spot. Also 8-7 Buffalo at 6-9 Miami, the Bills need help to make the playoffs, they need to win with losses from the Titans and Chargers Or a loss by the Ravens. 6-9 Oakland at 8-7 LA Chargers, LA needs a win plus a Titan loss to the Jags and a Ravens victory over the Bengals and they are in. 6-9 Cincinnati at 9-6 Baltimore, the Ravens just need a win and they are in, they can actually lose to the Bengals and still get one of the two wildcard spots IF the Bills or Titans lose. Other teams that have already clinched will be fighting for playoff seedings so there probably won’t be too many teams sitting their starters. There you have it another regular season is almost in the books and with that, Let’s get to this weeks (HOPEFULLY) Losers…
