Sundays in the NFL never disappoint with plenty of excitement to go around. There were three matchups yesterday in the league pitting ranked teams against each other and all three of the games were won by the higher ranked teams. New England, Denver and Cincinnati  all managed to remain unbeaten while pushing all three of the losers Dallas, Seattle and Oakland  to the brink of extinction from the Pro Top 15.

Spurrier Retires Effective Immediately

The Ole Ball Coach has decided to hang up the visor for good, or so it appears at age 70. He informed athletic director, Ray Tanner of his decision today and comes in the midst of losing four straight SEC games. The announcement of Spurriers retirement was first reported by SI.com and the head coach informed his players of his decision earlier today in a team meeting. Read more »
