Cleveland Or Golden State?

Now that the stage is set for the NBA finals, which begin next Thursday  June 4th the question remains, can Lebron win his 3rd title (in 6-tries) with the supporting cast around him?

With PF Kevin Love (Shoulder) out for the post season and PG Kyrie Irving (Knee) still not 100%, though he does say the knee is feeling better, you still have to wonder if the banged up Cavaliers will be able to keep pace with the talented Warriors. Fortunately the Cav’s best player, SF Lebron James is healthy and coming off a great series against the Atlanta Hawks where the Cav’s swept the Hawks in the eastern finals. Also stepping up BIG for the Cav’s has been  SG JR Smith who averaged 11.8 ppg. over the last 10-games, playing 31.1 mpg.

Over in the West , Golden State has perhaps the best team in its history, but that won’t be determined until this Warriors team has completed it’s title runs a few years from now. But for now they certainly appear to have a good shot at accomplishing the task.

When you go down each current starting lineup My Sports Mind has to favor the Warriors but it’s definitely a close call deciding who will end up taking the title, because with the Cav’s boasting a healthy Lebron James that’s plenty enough to cause any team to be concerned. So Who’s gonna win IF you had to pick one or the other?

This Is Whats On My Sports Mind about this subject….

Golden State OR Cleveland? I got to tell you it’s gonna be a great series I do believe, maybe NOT so much with a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, but we shall not know that answer, at least not this season.

But when I begin to consider the fact that the Warriors starting lineup in tact, have had the full season together which only makes them more dangerous and the Cavaliers have one key starter out for the rest of the season and another nursing a bad knee it becomes a little more clear.

I don’t think that Lebron alone can win this series and I also do not believe that JR Smith will be enough of a difference maker to give Cleveland the edge they need, however IF Kyrie Irving can play his game and show no ill effects of his banged up knee, then I have to say the Cav’s have a fighting chance.

BUT My Sports Mind (FOR NOW) is telling me Golden State in 6-games and since the finals are best of seven, that could definitely change.

So Whats On Your Sports Mind on this subject? Take the poll and vote who you think will win…
